Why Should You Supply Tomato Paste from Fonte Food?

In line with the sustainability and traceability approach, tomato raw material is grown using water-saving drip irrigation systems within the framework of long-term production agreements with local farmers. While modern evaporation technologies that offer energy recovery during production stages are preferred, all of the packaging is made of recyclable materials. Thanks to the batch-based full traceability system implemented in each shipment, the product is transparent, traceable and controlled throughout the entire process from the field to the processing line and final delivery.

Product Types

Double Concentrated Tomato Paste
Double concentrated tomato paste has a Brix ratio of 28-30%, an acidity value in the pH range of 4.2-4.6 and a significant color intensity at the level of a/b ratio ≥ 2.0; the dry matter content is standardized to 28 ± 1%. Suitable for a wide range of uses such as canning, sauces, ready meals and industrial food production, this product is packaged in 220 kg aseptic bags or 800 g-5 kg cans.
Triple Concentrated Tomato Paste
Triple concentrated tomato paste offers high consistency with a Brix value in the range of 36-38% and a dry matter content of 36 ± 1%; its strong color profile with a/b ratio ≥ 2.1 is especially preferred in industrial production, ketchup and various sauce productions. The fact that it requires less carrying volume and has a high taste-color density are important advantages of the product. The packaging format is 220 kg aseptic drums or bulk container systems.
Organic Tomato Paste
Organic tomato paste is produced with raw materials obtained from certified organic production fields; It offers standard quality with a Brix value of 28-30%. Validated with EU Organic and USDA Organic certifications, the product is suitable for retail and private label projects. Packaging options are offered in the form of 720 ml glass jars and 800 g cans.
Industrial Derivatives
The industrial derivative product group includes tomato puree at the level of 12-14% Brix, tomato pastes called various paste mixes, sterilized powdered form tomato powder and tomato pulp, which is considered as a by-product. These pulps can be used in animal feed additive or different industrial applications; the product line offers versatile process inputs for the food industry.
Manufacturing Process
The tomato paste production process starts with the processing of fresh tomatoes with a capacity of 1,000-1,500 tons/day. The concentration stage is carried out under vacuum in evaporator systems at low temperature and 85-90% efficiency is achieved. While the aseptic filling of the products is performed in 220 kg bags with automatic systems in sterile environment, the pasteurization process is applied at 90-95°C for 15-20 seconds to ensure microbial safety. Each production batch is subjected to Brix, color, pH and microbiological analysis to ensure quality. All production processes are carried out in accordance with international standards with ISO 22000, HACCP, BRC, Halal and Kosher certifications.
Packaging and Logistics
While the packaging and logistics structure of tomato paste products offers the advantage of long shelf life and sterile production with 220 kg aseptic bag-barrel format for industrial use, 800 g-5 kg tin boxes for retail and Horeca segments provide flexible solutions with different label options. In the premium segment, glass jar packages in the range of 500-1,000 g create a perception of high visibility and quality for private brand projects. In large-volume operations, bulk container shipments are preferred and a cost-effective logistics model suitable for industrial applications is created.
Sustainability and Traceability
Within the scope of the sustainability and traceability approach, tomato raw material is grown with water-saving drip irrigation systems in line with long-term production agreements with local farmers. While evaporation systems that provide energy recovery are used in production processes, the packaging structure is formed from recyclable materials. Thanks to the batch-based full traceability system implemented in each shipment, the entire process from the field to the processing line and the final product is managed in a transparent and controllable way.
